Volleyball Recap: Christian Fellowship Wins Going Away Against Liberty Christian Academy

Christian Fellowship won the last time they faced Liberty Christian Academy and things went their way on Friday too. Christian Fellowship put the hurt on Liberty Christian Academy with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for Christian Fellowship.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 29-27, 25-21, 26-24.

Christian Fellowship had a senior duo take command as Kaylee Garner had 30 digs and two aces and Georgia Cornelius had 14 digs and two aces. Those 30 digs set a new season-high mark for Garner.

Christian Fellowship was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive contests.

Christian Fellowship's win bumped their record up to 8-11. As for Liberty Christian Academy, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-11.

Coming up, Christian Fellowship will square off against Prairie Home at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
