Baseball Recap: Airport Takes a Loss

Airport fell victim to Flat Rock and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to the Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-5 back in April.

Airport's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Flat Rock, the win (which was their 12th in a row) raised their record to 18-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Airport will face off against Divine Child at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Jets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Flat Rock, they will square off against Ecorse at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
