Wisner-Pilger lost to West Point-Beemer back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Gators sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Cadets.

Wisner-Pilger had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-11, 25-17.

Emerson Bellar paced Wisner-Pilger's offense, picking up 15 kills. Bellar got some help from Ramsey Arduser and her 25 assists. Bellar was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Wisner-Pilger now has a winning record of 2-1. As for West Point-Beemer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Wisner-Pilger will host Clarkson/Leigh on Tuesday. As for West Point-Beemer, they will venture away from home to challenge Pender at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
