Volleyball Recap: Germantown Takes a Loss

Germantown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kettle Moraine Lasers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lasers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Saturday.

Alivia Oldenburg was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had seven digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since back in September.

Germantown's loss dropped their record down to 12-20. As for Kettle Moraine, their win bumped their record up to 14-21.

Germantown has already played their next match (against West Bend West), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Kettle Moraine does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
