Basketball Game Preview: Luray Bulldogs vs. Buckingham Knights

The Luray Bulldogs will venture away from home to square off against the Buckingham Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Luray's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games.

Luray is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They blew past Page County 75-41. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Bulldogs have posted since January 31st.

Luray's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Hilliard, who went 6-for-11 on his way to 14 points and five rebounds. Thanks to that strong game, Hilliard now owns an excellent 45.3% shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Blake Jenkins, who went 7-for-11 to rack up 18 points.

Meanwhile, Buckingham didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against Strasburg on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 62-57 win.

Buckingham is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.2 points over those games. Luray pushed their record up to 18-7 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.
