Basketball Game Preview: Tallwood Lions vs. First Colonial Patriots

The Tallwood Lions will face off against the First Colonial Patriots at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with 38 consecutive losses dating back to last season for Tallwood and seven for First Colonial.

Last Tuesday, Tallwood was beaten by Ocean Lakes 59-13. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Dolphins are ranked 132nd).

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 58-14, which was the final score in First Colonial's tilt against Lakeland on Thursday.

First Colonial's defeat dropped their record down to 2-13. As for Tallwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
