They took a 57-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of Great Oaks. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Dragons came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 39th in Delaware, while Great Oaks are ranked 346th in New Jersey).

Freire Charter School Wilmington's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Great Oaks, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.
