Football Recap: Weldon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weldon extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to four on Friday, dropping them down to 0-3. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Northampton County Jaguars. The Chargers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Northampton County's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-5. Their offense finally found a way to get into gear: the high-octane performance was a 180-degree turn from their last five games.

Northampton County found their leader in sophomore Amare Gills, who rushed for 64 yards and three scores. Jamari Gatling was in the mix too, providing the Jaguars with one touchdown.
