Whitmire has gone a perfect 3-0 against Ridge Spring-Monetta recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Trojans at 6:00 p.m. Whitmire is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.

Last Friday, Whitmire was able to grind out a solid victory over Ware Shoals, taking the game 5-2.

Meanwhile, with a playoff win on the line, Ridge Spring-Monetta rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 12-9 win over the Silver Fox. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Trojans considering their two-run performance the matchup before.

Whitmire's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Ridge Spring-Monetta, their win bumped their record up to 22-8.

Everything went Whitmire's way against Ridge Spring-Monetta in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, as Whitmire made off with a 14-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wolverines since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
