Volleyball Game Preview: Canyon View Jaguars vs. Willow Canyon Wildcats

The Canyon View Jaguars will head out to take on the Willow Canyon Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Having struggled with six defeats in a row, Canyon View turned things around against Kellis on Friday. They blew past the Cougars 3-0. The Jaguars not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since March 6th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Willow Canyon entered their tilt with Mountain Pointe on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Pride with a sharp 3-0 victory.

Willow Canyon walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-20, 25-17.

Canyon View's victory bumped their record up to 5-17. As for Willow Canyon, they pushed their record up to 23-9 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Canyon View might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Willow Canyon in their previous matchup on April 11th. Can the Jaguars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
