Greely hasn't had much luck against Cape Elizabeth recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Greely Rangers will host the Cape Elizabeth Capers at 6:00 p.m. Greely will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.
Greely is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Maine's top teams: North Yarmouth Academy, who was ranked tenth in their home state at the time (Greely was ranked third). Greely had just enough and edged North Yarmouth Academy out 2-1.
Meanwhile, Cape Elizabeth unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 3-1 to Brunswick. The loss put an end to the Capers' undefeated start to the season.
