El Capitan won the last time they faced Los Banos and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Gauchos blew past the Tigers 41-12. The Gauchos might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by 25 points or more this season.

Aaliyah Simonian was her usual excellent self, throwing for 239 yards and four touchdowns, while also rushing for 88 yards and a pair of scores on only nine carries. Avnoor Bains was in the mix as well, providing El Capitan with two TDs.

Another reason for the win was El Capitan's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Evelynn Baeza was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up three herself. Bains got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

El Capitan is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 34.7 points over those games. As for Los Banos, their loss dropped their record down to 7-9.
