Volleyball Recap: Poplar Bluff Comes Up Short

The Poplar Bluff Mules came up short against the Northwest Lions on Monday, falling 3-0. The Mules have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Poplar Bluff had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 25-19.

Poplar Bluff's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11-3. As for Northwest, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-9-3.

Looking ahead, Poplar Bluff will square off against Doniphan at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Northwest has already played their next match (against Pattonville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
