Soccer Recap: Gadsden County Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Gadsden County faced off against Godby on Tuesday. The Gadsden County Jaguars fell 2-0 to the Godby Cougars. The Jaguars were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cougars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Gadsden County's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Godby, they now have a winning record of 4-3-1.

Gadsden County will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against Franklin County at 7:00 p.m. Franklin County's last four matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Godby, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Taylor County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
