Basketball Recap: Franklin Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Franklin Christian Academy was the 60-52 winner over Lighthouse Christian when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Franklin Christian Academy Falcons fell 47-40 to the Lighthouse Christian Lions on Saturday. The game marked the Falcons' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

It was another big night for Kolby Matthews, who posted 18 points for Lighthouse Christian. The team also got some help courtesy of Allan Niles, who scored eight points and five boards.

Franklin Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Lighthouse Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 17 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.

As of now, neither Franklin Christian Academy nor Lighthouse Christian have any future games scheduled.
