Basketball Game Preview: Beauregard Hornets vs. Dadeville Tigers + Official Tickets

Beauregard is a perfect 6-0 against Dadeville since January of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Hornets will be playing at home against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Beauregard has four straight wins, Dadeville has 20 straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Beauregard is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past LaFayette 76-53 on Tuesday. The Hornets not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since January 30th (when they won 41-4).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Beauregard to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lindsey Moulton, who shot 69% from the field on her way to 22 points in addition to seven rebounds and six steals. Those 69% field goal percentage gave Moulton a new career-high. Kam Torbert was another key player, putting up 19 points and seven steals.

Beauregard smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 16 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Dadeville played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 54-15 loss at the hands of Horseshoe Bend. The game marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Dadeville's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Beauregard, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.

Everything came up roses for Beauregard against Dadeville when the teams last played back in December of 2024, as the squad secured a 46-17 win. Do the Hornets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
