Lutheran had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.4 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 63-40 margin over the Lewis-Palmer Rangers. This was a revenge game for the Lions: when they faced off against the Rangers back in January, they had to take a 74-59 loss.

When it comes to explaining why Lewis-Palmer lost, don't look at Jacob Lowe. Despite the final result, he went 6-for-11 en route to 12 points. Ethan Edgin was another key player, putting up six points.

Lutheran's victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points over those games. As for Lewis-Palmer, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.
