Soccer Game Preview: Prescott vs. Paradise Honors

Prescott has won four straight games at home, while Paradise Honors has won four straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Prescott Badgers will host the Paradise Honors Panthers at 6:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Prescott's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. Everything went their way against Lee Williams as Prescott made off with a 5-0 win. Given the Badgers' advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked eighth, while the Volunteers are ranked 102nd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Prescott hit Lee Williams with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kenzie Blanchard (2), Violet Williams (2), and Delaney Lucas.

Meanwhile, Paradise Honors made easy work of Thunderbird on Wednesday and carried off a 6-0 victory. The Panthers' defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last five games.

Prescott has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which lines up perfectly with their 10-1-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 35 goals over those eight matches. As for Paradise Honors, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.

Prescott took their victory against Paradise Honors when the teams last played back in March of 2021 by a conclusive 5-0. Will Prescott repeat their success, or does Paradise Honors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
