Softball Recap: East Prairie Comes Up Short

East Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 7-3 to the Advance Hornets. If the Eagles were looking for revenge after losing 6-1 to the Hornets when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Chloe Jackson was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

East Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Advance, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.

While East Prairie had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
