With a playoff win on the line, Morgan rose to the challenge on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Salt Lake Academy Griffins. The victory was familiar territory for the Trojans, who have now won nine contests in a row.

Kevin Wangsgard paced Morgan's offense, picking up 19 kills. Wangsgard got some help from Caleb Stephens and his 43 assists. Finally, David Thomsen kept Morgan's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.

Morgan's win bumped their record up to 22-8. As for Salt Lake Academy, the loss snapped their winning streak at 13 games and leaves them with a 24-7 record.

Morgan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Grantsville on the 8th. As for Salt Lake Academy, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against North Sanpete on the 8th.
