Recap: Foster Falcons vs. Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos
The Foster Falcons lost against the Fort Bend Marshall Buffalos on January 2nd, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Foster fell 51-40 to Fort Bend Marshall. Foster has not had much luck with Fort Bend Marshall recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Despite the defeat, Foster had strong showings from Julian Cormier, who scored 14 points, and Jalen Stephanson, who scored four points along with seven rebounds and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cormier has scored all season.
Foster's loss dropped their record down to 8-17. As for Fort Bend Marshall, their victory was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 26-2.
Foster will take on Fort Bend Kempner at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Fort Bend Kempner presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Foster in Texas (Fort Bend Kempner is ranked 217th, while Foster is ranked 587th). As for Fort Bend Marshall, they will head out on the road to take on Terry at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
