Phillipsburg came tearing into Saturday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 points) and they left with even more momentum. They took down the Franklin Warriors 60-45. That's more bragging rights for the Stateliners, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Matthew Scerbo Jr. continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. Another player making a difference was Shamari Lavacia, who almost dropped a double-double on 11 points and nine rebounds.
