Softball Recap: Lexington Christian Comes Up Short

The Lexington Christian Eagles didn't have quite enough to beat the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions on Thursday and fell 11-10. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anna Gorshak was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-5 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Megan Moore, who went 2-for-4 with two runs.

Lexington Christian's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, their record now sits at 3-11.

Lexington Christian has already played their next contest, a 20-1 win against Paul Laurence Dunbar on the 19th. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-7 defeat against Portland Christian on the 17th.
