Basketball Recap: First Baptist Academy Comes Up Short

First Baptist Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Concord Christian Lions 81-32. The Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Lions from their previous meeting back in January.

First Baptist Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Concord Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

First Baptist Academy will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakeway Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. Concord Christian will take on Anderson County in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
