Football Recap: Platte Canyon Huskies vs. Ellicott Thunderhawks
Platte Canyon extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to seven on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-3. They lost 36-12 to the Ellicott Thunderhawks. The Huskies were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunderhawks apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.
Colton Shirley threw for 52 yards on two of nine attempts. Ty Cole was his top target, picking up 27 receiving yards.
