Basketball Recap: Chamberlain Cubs vs. Wall Eagles
Chamberlain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were dealt a 67-35 loss at the hands of the Wall Eagles.
Wall was led to victory by Emmet Dinger and Teelan Kjerstad. Dinger went 8 of 13 on his way to 20 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists, while Kjerstad went 8 for 14 en route to 18 points and three steals. With that strong performance, Dinger is now averaging an impressive 15.4 points per game. Another player making a difference was Younger Amiotte, who posted nine points and four steals.
Chamberlain's defeat dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Wall, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-3.
Chamberlain has already played their next game, a 67-35 victory against Bon Homme on the 18th. As for Wall, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 91-54 win against Lead-Deadwood on the 18th.
