Baseball Recap: Jackson-Olin Takes a Loss

Jackson-Olin lost against Parker back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jackson-Olin Mustangs lost 19-7 to the Parker Thundering Herd. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

DaTrell Evans was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in two of his three plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaylen Washington, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one RBI.

Jackson-Olin's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Parker, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 8-8.

Jackson-Olin has already played their next game (against Fairfield), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Parker, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Jackson-Olin at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
