Soccer Game Preview: North Penn vs. Central Bucks East

The North Penn Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Central Bucks East Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Penn fell victim to Henderson and their airtight defense on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. While losing is never fun, North Penn can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 122nd, while Henderson are ranked ninth).

Meanwhile, Central Bucks East and Central Bucks West faced off in a cross-town battle on Monday. The Patriots fell just short of the Bucks by a score of 1-0.

Central Bucks East's defeat dropped their record down to 9-6-1. As for North Penn, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-6-1 record this season.
