Soccer Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pulaski Academy Bruins. If Central were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to Pulaski Academy when the teams met back in April of 2016, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Pulaski Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Central and Pulaski Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time Central sees the pitch they'll take on Little Rock Southwest at 5:30 p.m. on April 1. As for Pulaski Academy, their break will end when they face Bryant on April 1.
