Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Whitney walked away with it. Everything went their way against the Grant Pacers on Friday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on four straight.

Whitney never let Grant on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-23.

Kale Cochran paced Whitney's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cochran got some help from Balin Sillence-Dhamrait and his 17 assists. Martin Lim controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Whitney's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-19. As for Grant, with the defeat, they broke their ten-game winning streak and moved their record to 16-6.

Whitney didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Del Oro on the 6th. Grant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
