Owensboro has gone a perfect 4-0 against Franklin-Simpson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Saturday. The Red Devils will host the Wildcats at 9:00 a.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

On Thursday, Owensboro came up short against Warren East and fell 2-0.

Meanwhile, Franklin-Simpson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Logan County.

Franklin-Simpson's defeat dropped their record down to 4-20-1. As for Owensboro, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Owensboro took their victory against Franklin-Simpson in their previous meeting back in August of 2021 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Wildcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
