Basketball Recap: Waldron Comes Up Short

Waldron was the 77-44 winner over Booneville when they last played one another back in February of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Waldron Bulldogs took a 54-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Booneville Bearcats on Saturday. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waldron's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Booneville, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-7 record.

Waldron wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 63-32 win against Mansfield on the 30th. As for Booneville, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 67-35 loss against Elkins on the 30th.
