Volleyball Recap: Union Colony Prep Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Union Colony Prep was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Lyons Lions. If the Timberwolves were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lions when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-5.

Among those leading the charge was Gwen Gadbaw, who had 16 digs. Poet MacKinnon also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Union Colony Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Lyons, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Union Colony Prep will square off against rival Belleview Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Lyons is set to face off against their familiar foe SkyView Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
