Baseball Recap: Richmond Comes Up Short

Richmond lost against Holden back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Spartans fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 7-6.

Richmond's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Holden, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 13-9 record.

Richmond didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 7-2 loss against Lafayette County on the 14th. As for Holden, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 5-1 defeat against Cole Camp on the 14th.
