Soccer Game Preview: Timberlake vs. Bonners Ferry

The Timberlake Tigers will challenge the Bonners Ferry Badgers at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Bonners Ferry will square off against a team with plenty of momentum: Timberlake extended their winning streak to three on Thursday. Everything went the Tigers' way against Priest River as they made off with a 10-2 win. It was an even better day for Ellie Smith as she scored three goals for her team.

Meanwhile, Bonners Ferry kept a clean sheet against Priest River on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Spartans. The high-scoring effort was just what Bonners Ferry needed considering they were shut out in their previous match.

The victory got Bonners Ferry back to even at 7-7. As for Timberlake, the win got them back to even at 8-8.

Timberlake skirted past Bonners Ferry 1-0 in their previous meeting back in September. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Badgers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
