Basketball Recap: Baldwin-Woodville Comes Up Short

Baldwin-Woodville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a 69-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bloomer Blackhawks. While losing is never fun, Baldwin-Woodville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 335th, while Bloomer is ranked 148th).

Baldwin-Woodville's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Bloomer, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season.

Baldwin-Woodville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 73-38 victory against Mondovi on the 10th. As for Bloomer, they have also already played their next game, an 81-69 win against Barron on the 11th.
