Basketball Game Preview: Williston Red Devils vs. Wildwood Wildcats

Williston is 1-7 against Wildwood since December of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Red Devils will face off against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Williston is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They claimed a resounding 65-14 win over Moore Haven. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their 15th in a row.

Meanwhile, Wildwood took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 69-15 victory over Chiefland. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Indians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Wildwood's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Williston, their win bumped their record up to 19-2.

Williston was able to grind out a solid victory over Wildwood in their previous meeting last Friday, winning 72-62. Do the Red Devils have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
