Baseball Recap: Traip Takes a Loss

Traip came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Waynflete Flyers, falling 10-1. The Rangers haven't had much luck with the Flyers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Traip's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Waynflete, their victory was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2.

Coming up, Traip will take on Richmond at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rangers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bobcats have averaged an impressive 15.8 runs per game this season. As for Waynflete, they will challenge Mount Abram at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
