Volleyball Recap: Legacy Early College Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Legacy Early College unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Wade Hampton Generals on Thursday, falling 3-0. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it five in a row.

While Legacy Early College ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-21.

Legacy Early College will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Greenville H at 6:00 p.m. on September 22. As for Wade Hampton, they will take on James F. Byrnes at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
