Basketball Recap: Red Hill Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Red Hill can now relate to. They were just a bucket shy of victory on Monday and fell 76-75 to the Grayville Bison. The Salukis just can't catch a break and have now endured five defeats in a row.

Grayville was led to victory by Zach Leavens and Zarian Cheadle. Leavens posted 28 points, while Cheadle earned 16 points. Those 16 points gave Cheadle a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Canyon Neeley, who had nine points.

Red Hill's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Grayville, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 13-19.

Red Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Grayville, they will venture away from home to face off against Webber at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Webber will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Grayville surely won't give up without a fight.
