Granger has gone 5-0 against Columbia recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Granger Spartans will venture away from home to square off against the Columbia Coyotes at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Granger is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering La Salle just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They were beaten by the Lightning 74-47. The matchup marked the Spartans' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, Columbia entered their game against Selah on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Columbia opened the new year with a less-than-successful 73-60 defeat to Selah. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Coyotes came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked fifth, while the Vikings are ranked 47th).

Columbia's loss ended a 22-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-1. As for Granger, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-3.

Everything went Granger's way against Columbia in their previous meeting back in December of 2017, as Granger made off with a 64-42 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Granger since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
