Football Recap: Fike's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

While it was all tied up 14-14 at halftime, Fike was not quite Ayden - Grifton's equal in the second half on Friday. They took a hard 37-22 fall against the Chargers. The loss put an end to the Golden Demons' undefeated start to the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ayden - Grifton to victory, but perhaps none more so than EJ Ruffin, who rushed for 143 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 7.9 yards per carry. Ruffin showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 66 yards. Nygel Morgan was another key receiver, gaining 94 total yards and two touchdowns.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fike fell to 2-1. As for Ayden - Grifton, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Fike will take on Ashley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ayden - Grifton, they will challenge North Lenoir at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
