Baseball Recap: Carter Comes Up Short

Carter lost against Gatlinburg-Pittman on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Green Hornets fell just short of the Highlanders by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that the Green Hornets have lost by just one run.

Carter's defeat dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, the win got them back to even at 12-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carter will square off against Cumberland County at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Gatlinburg-Pittman, they will challenge Pigeon Forge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
