After losing to Pewitt the last time they met, Rivercrest decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Rivercrest Rebels secured a 58-54 W over the Pewitt Brahmas on Friday. The win was familiar territory for the Rebels who have now won four contests in a row.

Several Brahmas players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Wooda Betts, who almost dropped a double-double on ten points and nine assists. The dominant performance gave Betts a new career-high in assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Wesley Smith, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds.

Rivercrest's victory bumped their record up to 8-18. As for Pewitt, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-14.

Rivercrest wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 40-33 loss against Harts Bluff on the 21st. As for Pewitt, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-39 win against Maud on the 21st.
