Basketball Recap: East Newton Takes a Loss

East Newton lost against Carthage back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The East Newton Patriots received a blow as they fell 53-37 to the Carthage Tigers. The contest marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

East Newton's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Carthage, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

East Newton will head out to challenge Clever at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Carthage, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Earle at 4:00 p.m. on December 26th.
