Baseball Recap: Hardee Wildcats vs. Estero Wildcats
Hardee extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Estero. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Estero Wildcats and snuck past 7-5. Winning may never get old, but Hardee sure is getting used to it with their ninth in a row.
Kellon Lindsey was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
On Estero's side, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Goeller, who went 3-for-3 with an RBI.
Hardee has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 18-6 record this season. As for Estero, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-6.
Hardee will head out on the road to square off against McKeel Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. The last seven games Hardee has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Estero does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
