Recap: Parker Wyverns vs. Louisville Saints HomeSchool Saints

If the Parker Wyverns were riding high off their 77-43 takedown of the Frederick Fraize Aces last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Parker suffered a tough 49-28 loss at the hands of Louisville Saints HomeSchool on Tuesday. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Parker has scored all season.

Abel Shreve was his usual excellent self, scoring 25 points along with five steals for Louisville Saints HomeSchool. Shreve hasn't dropped below two steals for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ezekiel Taylor, who scored nine points along with 14 rebounds.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Parker won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Robertson County at 3:30 p.m. on December 20th. Robertson County is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Louisville Saints HomeSchool will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Whitefield Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2024.
