Volleyball Recap: Legacy Finds Home Court Redemption Against Roosevelt

There's no place like home for Legacy, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They came out on top against the Roosevelt Rough Riders by a score of 3-1 on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Tigers: when they faced off against the Rough Riders back in March, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

Legacy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 14-25, 25-18, 25-22, 25-23.

Legacy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Roosevelt, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-4.

Legacy and Roosevelt should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. The Tigers (ranked 387th) will meet Bell (ranked 833rd) at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Roosevelt will face off against South Gate at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (281 vs. 678).
