The Clay-Battelle Cee-Bees will take on the Caldwell Redskins at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Clay-Battelle is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.4 points per game this season.

Last Tuesday, Clay-Battelle came up short against Catholic Central and fell 63-52.

Despite the loss, Clay-Battelle had strong showings from Preston Luzader, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 13 boards, and Cooper Payton, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 21 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That was a full 44.2% of Clay-Battelle's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points.

Even though they lost, Clay-Battelle smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in five consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Caldwell, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They breezed past Waterford to the tune of 74-45 on Wednesday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Redskins have posted since January 7th.

Caldwell is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which somehow still isn't as good as their 17-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.8 points over those games. As for Clay-Battelle, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-5.
