Grand Island not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 2nd (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Bryan Bears as they made off with a 3-0 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Islanders.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-16, 25-8.

Leading Grand Island to victory were Irelynn Sughroue and Alexa Sackschewsky. Sughroue had six digs and four aces, while Sackschewsky had 15 assists and two aces. What's more, Sughroue posted two assists, the most she's had over her last eight contests.

They weren't the only good servers: Grand Island was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 16 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Grand Island's win bumped their record up to 10-22. As for Bryan, their defeat was their ninth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-29.

Grand Island didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Marian on the 28th. Bryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
